About Value in Sound
Let’s face it – the music industry is changing. If you were just shocked by that you might consider smashing your head against the rock you just crawled out from under. But how and why is the landscape shifting? What’s available to artists now that wasn’t available before? And most importantly, what’s the best way to take advantage of it moving forward?
While I definitely can’t predict where the music industry is going, I can make available tons of information about how musicians can capitalize right now on the shifting architecture of the current music landscape. I’ve been exploiting copyright for years getting music used all over TV, advertising, and all sorts of other medium. We’ll start basic and move on to concepts dealing with the strategic to the tactical, from the musical to the businical (that’s not a word).
